Why does a case take so long to resolve?

The Forsyth County Court system is victim to the population explosion in Forsyth County.  Similarly populated counties have two more Judges in the State Court. Also, the courthouse is too small to handle the number of people it serves.  As a result, too many people are forced to use the facilities, thereby causing delays.  The problem can only be solved by constructing a new courthouse.
